Which do you do?

Default Which do you do?

When a flock of Geese say 7 (Canadians) come in the typical "V" Do you shoot the rear birds or the front

It depends on how my group of guys are spread out....we shoot the birds in a fashion to accomodate the rest of our hunting crew!

what carpmaster said, or if inly a few big ones in flock, and one other shooter pick them first then move to smaller birds Andy

We do the same as Carp said. Shoot the way you are sitting with the others.

Well I get the impression that most of you guys hunt Geese differently than we do. I understand you field hunt and we hunt on water.We get small groups to come in so we shoot the rear geese which are imature birds opting not to take the shot that would allow a better second shot. Although sometimes we will take the lead birds and let the young birds come back around for a second shot. Anyway Thanks.
