This was my opening weekend as well. Me and some buddies killed 16 woodducks in about an hour on saturday, but we had a lot of guns since the limit is two. Today I got a teal and a really nice pintail

Its funny we're called the green head hunters and I on ly say one amllard killed and it was a hen.

Hey guys,

Just checking in with everyone. The season here in VA doesn't start until Thanksgiving. Even then the action doesn't get good until the middle/end of January when it gets really cold and all the ducks are here from up north.

We had a couple of limits last season and I think we ended up the season with about 30 some birds. Not a huge number but I'm glad just to have a place to go these days.

Sorry guys haven't been able to get on in a few days. [:'(]Those are some nice pics! Your right IL hunter, we haven't shot any green heads yet but you just wait until january when the Mallards start pilling in to my blind!;)

Ive had the ill pleasure of hunting with Il Hunter. Not only did he drop some huskstbles in his own waders but he ejected every live shell he had into the swamp water. Then he proceeded to explain his love for the african beetle and its history while eating two donuts and a rootbeer. This kid is out of control.

Well I'm gonna be hunting three days this weekend and hopefully I get some mallards and some honkers. The weather is too nice and I don't like it.

I added9 more to the count this weekend! 1st day4 man limit. 2nd day 10 ducks 4 men.

I got 18 this weekend I limited on saturday sunday and today it was great. No geese as of yet. Most of the ducks were gadwall and teal with a few shovelers mixed in. I want mallards.

Nice hunt.

I just looked at the scores are we are not doing too bad. Sorry I'm still unable to report anything. Our season doesn't come in until next weekend and then I'm going to be out of town. Hopefuly over thanksgiving I'll have some birds and some pictures to report.

our weather has turned horrible some of my buddies shot 24 ducks in less than 2 hours I'm hoping for 4 limits this weekend. My time will be split between the pit and the tree stand

How old are you guys?

I'm 22 and a full time student @ Virginia Commonwealth University.

I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving break so I can finally do some hunting.

I'm also going out in the morning to see what I can come up with. I'll also be going some over the thanksgiving holiday.

Their is a storm over us today that is forecast to linger into tomorrow morning and then the wind will kick up to 15+ out of the west. Perfect wind for my blind.

I've been off the internet for a while, but I had a produtcive weekend. We could have probably killed over 30 ducks each day if it was legal. I'm 21 and I'm a college student. I skipped some class with the bad weather and it was well worth it.

went out yesterday and only got one. Went out today and got 5!!!:DShould of had my limit but ad no sense ofaim today. Might be going out tommorrow. I tell carpmaster all my kills tommorrow.
