gwn3d - how do you shoot 45 ducks in a day or is that a weekly total?

TEAM 1 - 15 birds: 5 geese, 10 ducks from 10/15-10/17 (bird numbers WAY down here in ND right now - locals have gone south, migrators not here yet).

I was wondering the same thing?? gwn3d is either exceeding the limit a little or they are counting the birds as a group. I was under the impression that it was just the birds we shot. If it is legite I have to commend gwn3d

Must be liberal limits even at that - 45 ducks in a week is more than 6 per day - but I know their goose limit is higher than ours, so their duck limits probably are too.

GWN3D - any recommendations on what to do with the meat? I thought I had a lot, but you must have some decent recipes to make those things edible I've been considering processing for the first time this year, and bought the DU cookbook - but many of those recipes are "gourmet style" that take like 2 hrs of prep work - not for me (and mushroom soup with onions and fowl in the crockpot ain't doing it for me anymore

Hey guys just to let you all know up here Duck limit 8 per day, 5 canadas per day and 20 snows per day. Yes my totals are week by week not daily, nor are they group totals. We have had afew shoots this year where we had to walk away and quit shooting even though the birds were still coming in to the decoys.
our best souple of group totals were
1. 26 snows, 16 canadas, 48 ducks, 6 shooters (pic on other thread)
2. 2 snows, 72 ducks, 9 shooters (pic on other thread)
3. 24 ducks, 26 mixed geese, 3 shooters

for the meat, both of my parents, and my sister take some, as well there are some people at work who love the meat so it gets spread around.
One way is to marinade in italian dressing overnight and the wrap in bacon and do on the Que. or slice and wrap a Jalepona in the breast and do the above. Andy

ps I am not that great of a hunter, it is just that there are a lot of birds that haven.t seen hunters yet, and very few other hunters around. I can't call worth crap, but my friends and I still manage to get the birds because they are still stupid and haven't been hunted much, and we can get permisson on a lot of land.
