I am as well. The season opened today, but I have to work. I'll be scouting tomorrow night and hunting both Saturday and Sunday. I also hope to get some bowhunting in on Saturday evening (assuming we have a waterfowl field locked up for Sunday - otherwise I'll have to go scouting again).

These gas prices are REALLY hurting when it comes to waterfowl hunting. I know I'll put 600+ miles on my Silverado this weekend, that's EXPENSIVE at 13 mpg and $3.25 gas.

Gas, yea I am a little in the dumps also. We are going to Maine from Va. Bear hunting 880 miles one way on top of it my sump pump went out yesterday and the fridge went Friday all in time for a hunting trip. Serious ouch. Well good luck guys get us on the board.

I will get some Goose hunting in when I get back. The go devil is not running right now waiting on some shaft seals but they shouldget here while I am gone.

You should have been there. But then I would have out shot you. Who wants to be the captain? I shot 1 more for a total of 3.

I shot 10 geese this weekend (2 days) - I'll try to post pics this afternoon. Our group of 4 limited out with 20 each day. I don't know if I'll make it out again for a while now though - went bowhunting the last 2 nights as well so now I have to "re-charge" the wife hunting-o-meter.
