i was just wondering what the limit on geese is in different areas of the country. the limit here were i hunt which is were illinois, indiana, and kentucky touch each other, is 2 a piece. i think its a bunch of crap personally. i mean we never have really good years anymore and i think that if we ever get into the birds we should be able to kill more than 2 a piece. i would think more like 4 at least. thats just my opinion though. tell me what some of you guys think.

In Maryland its 8 a day for early "resident goose" season and then 2 a day for the "migratory" season.

Virginia, Eastern portion Sept 1 thru 15 5 per day (Resident Birds)
Nov 19thruJan 15th with a 2 week break 2 per day
Jan 16th thru Feb 15 5 per day (Resident Birds)

early season is8 a day and migration is 5 a day

Here in Co it is 3 a day!

Canadas...5 daily/15 possession
Snows....20 daily/80 possession

Here in Pennsylvania for the early season (Sept 1-24) Daily limit of8 and 16 in possession statewide. In the migratory season it depends on where you hunt at it varies. In the RP Zone which covers most of the state, except 3 counties near lake Erie and about 10 SE counties daily limit is 5 and possession of 10. In the other areas it varies from 1, 2, 3, or 5 daily and depending what time frame you are in. So ya got to pay attention to where and when you hunt here to know how many you can kill.

Catt Daddy why is it you guys in SC have such liberal limits? If I am not mistaking your Swan Limit for the state is 5,000 birds and ours in Virginiais just 600. Now I see your resident limit at 15 and migratories at 5... I don't understand

Here in Ohio it is 2 or 3 for the early season and 2 for the regular season ( Canada)
We can also 10 light geese ( Snows ) and 2 Brant
I have shot a total of 14 snows in 25 years and those were on 2 days back to back .
I see 1 or 2 flocks all season , maybe
