Default RE: Beginner duck NEED HELP!!!!!

Welcome to the most addicting sport there is.Now for your questions.....
1.) Get a call that you can afford most companies have calls that are low priced but work well. There are also plenty of instructional audio tapes out there that will teach ya how to call.Learning when and how to produce the Hail call, comeback call,Lonsome hen call, and feeding call are all equally important.Practice whenever ya can. Also taken a trip to your local park and callen to the ducks there as well as listenen to them helps.
2.)yes cornfields will produce ducks sometimes. If there is any sort of water close by makes it even better (has hunted a rather large mud puddle in 1 corn field)
3.) 6 dekes will work ...though a few more helps sometimes...(I have a total of 18 mallard dekes 12 teal dekes and 6 geese though I don't always put them all out)
4.)In a blind as long as ya match your surroundings ya should be ok.
Hope that helps somewhat and good luck......

If god didn't want us to eat animals....Why did he make them outa meat?
