You have a great setup. I cant imagine spending that much on a camera where the lens is more expensive then the camera.
I would like to be able to take some nice pictures like your self but I dont have 10 k to spend on the equipment. Wha would you recommend for a good camera and lens to be able to take good quality long distance wildlife photos?? Thanks Mirza |
Mirza - I'm not sure what kind of advice to offer you. You do get what you pay for. The camera bodies aren't that bad it's the lenses that kill ya. I looked at it like an investment - glass wont go bad - may need to upgrade the body every now and then but the lens should last a lifetime. It's something I like to do and I don't golf or what not so I saved my money (A long time lol...) for something I enjoy.
I have seen some good pics with Sigma lenses and they are a lot cheaper than Nikon, but like I said above - I do believe you get what you pay for in quality. Hope this helps some, Dave |
