Pics from the past week...

Been a while since I've been on here, been so busy I haven't had time to do much of anything. Here's a few pics from the past week or so.

Take care
Dave

Looking for a good digital camera to get into photography like the ones you took above.

What would you recomend

Nice pictures. I might leave the bow at home this season and just bring my camera. I'm thinking about renting a nicer telephoto lens for during the rut. I would like to get my whitetail portfolio going this year.

Thanks everyone, these were all shot with a Nikon D300 and a Nikon 200-400 zoom lens.

You have a great setup. I cant imagine spending that much on a camera where the lens is more expensive then the camera.

I would like to be able to take some nice pictures like your self but I dont have 10 k to spend on the equipment. Wha would you recommend for a good camera and lens to be able to take good quality long distance wildlife photos?? Thanks

Mirza

Mirza - I'm not sure what kind of advice to offer you. You do get what you pay for. The camera bodies aren't that bad it's the lenses that kill ya. I looked at it like an investment - glass wont go bad - may need to upgrade the body every now and then but the lens should last a lifetime. It's something I like to do and I don't golf or what not so I saved my money (A long time lol...) for something I enjoy.

I have seen some good pics with Sigma lenses and they are a lot cheaper than Nikon, but like I said above - I do believe you get what you pay for in quality.

Hope this helps some,
Dave
