I'm glad you didn't take them home. People always seem to think they're abandoned, but they're not. Nice pictures.

They are so cute and I have always wanted to raise some. The only problem is I dont have the ground yet but I will raise one before I die. I sure did want to bring them home bad!

They're not so cute when they get older. I have a good friend that had about 30 of them. They're extremely high strung animals. Between the shots, being hard to handle, and the feeding cost, he wound up getting rid of them. They weren't very profitable. He now has elk he's raising.

I have a friend who raised a nice big buck. He kept the sheds from year to year and that is what I would like to do. I think whitetails are a wonderful animal and think they are one of the best animals out there. His son was feeding him from outside the fence and the buck slammed his rack in the fence and got the boy on his eyebrow. It layed him open and needed stitches to close him up.

That sounds about right. I hope he's ok. My buddy's elk are waaayy more laid back. They're pretty docile. There is one younger bull that is a little high strung, but the cows will eat out of your hand.

Nice bambies there. Good clear pics. How far away from them were you when you took the pictures.
