Brian, sorry I've been out of the loop here for a bit. The only other software that I'm familiar with is Adobe Premiere. As the others have said it is a very good all around program, but I know some guys that have had trouble transitioning to it. Once you get the hang of it though, it's a great program.

I have been running a DELL XPS 410 for about a year now without any real problems.. The biggest problem I have been having is with Windows Vista.. Alot of older programs have not been updated for it, other than that it rocks with my DSL connection.. I haven't had much luck with movie making though I do have the ability to do so..Good Luck with your DELL..
