Which camera do you prefer? What makes that camera better? Or any other camera around this price range.

Just my opinion and i have used both, it would be the PD170 hands down. The Pd170is way better with the low light and is way more user friendly.. Walt

I agree...I have seen many people buy a GL2 because they are cheaper only to sell them to buy a PD-170.

What about the black and white viewfinder on the PD170...is it a problem compared to color? Does the PD170 also have an LCD screen if you'd want to film yourself with a camera arm?

Kybar the BLK/WHT veiw finder is no problem at all most guys prefer it, and yes it does have a colored LCD screen on it.. Walt
