Raleigh Redneck, I'm not really sure what yuor talking about...I have some dove decoys that are inflatable with stakes for the ground, and I have some featherflex ones with the clothespin clip. I don't think i've ever heard or seen the kinda your talking about. I got mine from Bass Pro....but you should be able to get them lots of places...gander mountian, macks prarie wings.....I also just recently bought a mojo dove that works great.

I use either my .410 Stoeger SXS with "cheap" Wal-Mart Remington 7 1/2's or my Stoeger 12 Ga. SXS with cheap Wal-Mart Winchester 1 1/8 oz. 8 shot. I average about 75% with the .410 and about the same with the 12ga. I guess I didn't know Remington or Winchester made special cheap shells especially for Wal-Mart.

These decoys actually are thrown OVER the line, and then pulled up to perch on the line with the fishing line.
You either tie the fishing line to an achor, or have a weight that you adjust to the height of the line.

They were VERY effective and I can't remember the guy who had them.
I'll try to find out on my end, and I'll let everyone else know too. They worked like a dream, and were very easy to position and remove when done.

You're right they are awesome. I had a Game Warden stop and look at mine on a wire for about 5 minutes before he could determine that they were decoys.

I wasn't aware of the NCWA? PM some info over to me. I travel Raleigh quite a bit so maybe we can meet.
