We have a 4-H gun club that my brothers myself and a few other folk's started a two years ago.
The kids have been taught safe handling while shooting of guns and archery's,
Well a freind of my brother has a pheasant hunting farm,My brother and him were talking.
He said he would be willing to let the kids hunt some birds and he would cut the price by 50%
So we all went hunting Pheasant,chukar's and quail today,Man what a great day we had 9 kids that came out to hunt along with four adaults.
we took them out in groups of three.
It makes a person proud seeing them using saftey and good judgement and everything else a person has been working with them on.
Everybody took home at least two birds,Some three. even the adaults
what a great day.
All the kids had a great time
Seven pheasant a quail and a chukar came home with us.
Gonna cook up half the birds this sunday and have some family over for a feast.

HELLO 9TH TINE, I HAVE A 4-H SHOOTING PROGRAM IN INDIANA ALSO. I STARTED IT 2 YEARS AGO. AND EVERYONE SAID THERE WILL BE VERY LITTLE INTEREST IN THIS. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, THE KIDS CAME OUT IN FULL FORCE. I TEACH ARCHERY AND HUNTERS ED. MOST OF THE KIDS IN THE CLASS ARE GIRLS, THAT SUPRISED ME. WELL IT IS GOOD TO HEAR THE HUNT WENT WELL! I WISH YOU LUCK IN THE FUTURE AND I HOPE YOUR GROUP KEEPS UP THE GOOD WORK.
