Default Quail season opens tomorrow.

Hello,

So, quail season opens tomorrow here in Southwest Idaho. I am excited. I am going hunting tomorrow morning. Will let you all know how I do and if I get anything. Limit is 10 a day.

Wish me luck!

Thanks, guys. I will let you know if I get anything. Shooting hour starts at 7:02, I'm heading over to my spot as soon as I finish this message. Got my blind, ammo, and my shotgun. I don't have a dog, though.
When I'm done, I will post again.

Quail season opens tomorrow.-2-quail.jpg

Took two. Here is what happened:

Was sitting and waiting, when I heard a Covey coming. I got the gun ready. Then, a man came by intending to launch his canoe down the trail. I yelled, "STOP!" and he stopped in his tracks. 3 second later, I spotted the quail and fired two shots.

I saw one go down. I went over to get it. After the guy and I talked, I was getting ready to leave because I needed to help out a friend. I thought to myself, "Better check the area to see if there are more you got. So I did.

Sure enough, I was right. There was another Quail that was down I didnt notice.

Two quail total. A good start for the season.
