Shoot Bismuth shot, you can use it in any shotgun. I have been using it since it came out a long time ago because I would not use steel in my good SXS shotguns.

I've never seen bismuth loaded in 16 Ga shells and my BSS has modern chrome lined barrels so steel doesn't bother it.
