Dt customer service

My EDT 300 broke again after 15 month of little use. Same problem, transmitter buttons won' t work. I paid $ 60 last time.

Send it in in September and they got it on the 11th. Haven' t heard anyting and they don' t answer their email. Nosy as I am I called and they had the guts to tell me that they haven' t got to it sofar. But they will call me with an estimate in the next four weeks.

I don' t know how may they sell, but that sounds like a lot of repairs to me and if anybody plans on buying an EDT collar, better buy a spare Inotek or Tri tronics too. I bought an Innotek last time when it was broke and that thing is still running hot and heavy.

DT don' t even have an 800# to call.

I am pissed.

RE: Dt customer service

I have heard similar stories about DT' s customer service, although I have never dealt with them personally.

Tri-Tronics has about the best customer service out there, with very fast turnaround and they will even pay for your shipping. A few things do go wrong with their products so it is nice to know they will take care of it if necessary.

Innotek has decent customer service and a decent product, but Tri-Tronics is more reliable.

I don' t know about Dogtra' s customer service because no one I know has ever had anything go wrong with one of their products...and that is quite a few perfectly-performing units!!
