One of the reasons I hunt upland game is to witness some great dog work.
Sometime during our hunting experience we begin be aware of our surroundings more and start to free our focus to the shooting part alone.
I think this is when we begin to gain full appreciation of the hunt.
This hunt was in Ruffwood Game Farm Cayuga, Ontario with owner Mike Wilshire and his Brittany Spaniel, Jess and myself with my Black Lab, Mickey.
SO WHY DO YOU HUNT WITH A DOG OR DO YOU PREFER TO HUNT WITHOUT A DOG?
CHEERS.....louie

This is my first season hunting with my first Chocolate lab and my first experience with training a bird dog. I live in South Texas and I do a lot of dove and duck hunting but my dog flushed her first wild quail last Sunday and I'm addicted. Going to start looking for more places to hunt quail and I'm looking into a German Shorthair. I'll never hunt again without a dog. Its just not the same.
