I live in Lincoln Maine and plan on going bird, (partridge and Quail) this Saturday. I don't have a dog and there ain't no fields up here. I was planning on driving to some very rural logging roads and walking that and the smaller roads which branch off. Anyone have experience or tips? Would I be better off searching for them in the woods? also will they be active mid day or only around sunrise and sunset?
