Default Does trap help?

Hi. I am going to be hunting doves for the first time this season, and I also shoot trap a lot. I was wondering...for all of you that shoot trap and hunt doves, does trap help with dove hunting for you??

i think skeet would be much more representative of shots you' ll encounter hunting doves. how much do you lead a trap clay?

Trap and Skeet help adress some specific shots. Trap as going away and skeet as crossers. But both of them are limited in terms of hunting practice by the fact that you call for the bird. Sporting clays adds the dimension of some much more realistic shooting scenarios.

For better practice, shoot a few rounds from a low-gun position and concentrate on a quick, smooth gun mount.

Just my .02!

any time your shooting is going to help, i personaly like sporting clays the best, lots more angles, speed, and approaches.
