Smile A couple roosters

Got out this morning with my buddy Russ. We hit a field a couple miles down the road from my house. Was a cold, windy, and dreary morning. Roosters were still buried in the grass and snow in the CRP. Russ's two labs and mine worked really hard to find and put them up. Russ got his limit of three. I managed two with one extremely easy miss. Just one less to clean I suppose. Was pretty pooped after busting snowbanks for an hour or so. Was a fun morning. The labs really love this weather.

Looks like you had a good hunt and nice looking retriever. I went today but got skunked. Nine bird encounters but all flushed too far ahead before my dog could point; they spooked too easily. Last two roosters were dropped by the another guy but my dog kicked both up.

Thank you for posting a picture of your dog, a dog that hunt a rooster, nice dog and nice training with that animal.
