Default 20 ga high brass vs 12 ga low brass

which is better to use on dove... a 20 gauge with 2 3/4 high brass...or a 12 gauge with 2 3/4 low brass...what is your opinon on what to do

How well do you shoot?

Only difference is the amount of pelletesbetween 20 and 12 and then your muzzle velocity.

!2 will give you more pellets - more chance of hitting something.

But then I use a 28 Ga even less pellets!

Doesn't take much to kill a dove. 20 gauge hi brass are a little over kill, especially on the cheek and shoulder. A 7/8 ths load in the 20 works well as a 1 oz. in the 12. If you need more shot to hit them, I suggest more shot will not work 1/2 as much as a couple rounds at a skeet range.
