Anyone know any good pheasant hunting areas in CT?

Not sure where you are in CT but MA releases about 40k birds per year. I head up to northern MA all season.

CT pheasant is all put and take. The best places are club land (must be a member) or permit-only areas. The DEP (website or book) will tell you where they are and where to get the permits. The number of birds the state stocks has been dropping steadily for years. I suspect in a couple of years the state will discontinue the pheasant programs.
