WE STARTED ONE OF THE EARLIEST HATCHS THAT I REMEMBER, SOME OF ARE PHEASANTS ARTE HALF GROWN, QUAIL AND HUNS ARE DOING GREAT AND CHUKARS ARE EXPLODING IN NUMBERS, WOULD BE SUPRISED IF THIS YEARS COUNTS ON CHUKAR DOESNT BREAK EVERY RECORD ON THE BOOKS.
JUST HOPE THE RUFFS AND BLUES DO WELL.

I LIVE IN IDAHO, WE HAVE NINE SPECIES, OF UPLAND BIRDS, THAT CAN BE HUNTED.
HUNS, ARE CALLED HUNGARIAN PARTRIDGE, THEY ARE SMALLER THAN A CHUKAR, BIGGER THAN A QUAIL. AND ARE A COVEY BIRD.

Nine species of upland birds![] I got to get to Idaho, I think my shotgun is calling me. We for the most part in northern Indiana just have pheasant with the occasional covey of quail. There are some pockets of ruff grouse in the south and the rare wood cock.
