Default shotgun sight for grouse hunting

I've been hunting grouse for a few years, and finally got a quality gun (12 gauge pump Rem 870 WingMaster) and was wondering if any of you hunt with a different type of sight other than the stock bead? My eyes are decent, but i do wear prescription safety glasses when i hunt, do you think it would be worth it to invest in atype of fiber optic sight like i sometimes see guys use on turkey guns? thanks for the info! I got my first bird of the season on 9/22, a small female, on my 2nd shot. Never would have got her with my old break-action 20 gauge!

Sproulman is all over this one......I have hunted grouse for several years and found out that putting a Truglo bead on sure help me. I went with the green bead, but I wouldn't think color would be a factor. I just seem to pick up the front bead quicker and got better shots.

Let me re-phrase that......it helps me find the end of my gun! You are right you really don't aim, it is all instinct (spray and pray)[8D]

i use my sight even tho its natural just to shoot..
on trap etc its great to have a high vis site.
closer you get your face to stock/barrel more you will get grouse...

using sight we make you a better shooter because it gets your face on stock and your eye down barrel..
but i agrre, most times you dont even remeber front sight on fast grouse in close BUT out at 35/40 yards after leaves are off, sight comes in as you are SWINGING not pointing as you were when leaves were on and shots closer..
