RE: .410 Shooting

A 410 is an EXPERT Gun do not i repeat do not giva a child a 410
use a youth model Rem 1100
That way way they can shoot something that is comfortable and also they will have success with the gun

RE: .410 Shooting

Young folks here ( under adult supervision )do use the .410 single shot, on grouse around old apple trees and such. These are not wing shots but rather siting in the tree. That is how they get started hunting for grouse here.

Thanks for reminding me:)

I'm stopping by a farm I archery hunt to drop off some gifts today, I think I'll bring along mymodel24 22/410 and take a walk by the old apple tree that the grouse always burst out of when I'm on my way to my stand (deer is closed now).
