hunted this weekend and dang early birds were already off the roost at 5am.
they would gobble like mad for about 30 minutes, then silent.
do others have early gobblers? or am i just stuck with some early morning gobblers?
usually like to get into position before they come off the roost.
but getting out before 5am is painfull.

We've had some decent weather lately, and the birds have been sounding off starting ~40 minutes before sunrise (official), and setting down right around sunrise.
They are then pretty vocal for about 10 minutes, then they need some "enticing", but will answer calls.

1/2 HOUR B4 SUN-UP TO SUNDOWN, VERY VOCAL IN MY AREA ALL DAY, BUT ZERO HUNTING PRESSURE (TWO PEOPLE ALLOWED TO HUNT 2000 ACRES), AND WE KEEP THE COYOTES THINNED OUT PRETTY WELL.
