Thats awesome. Good story. Waiting for another to take the shot does seem like days. I took a youngster, I told him to take his time and shoot when he was ready. It seemed like an eternity before he ever shot. But when he did he made a great shot and dropped him at 30 yards.

I knew there had to be a reason I missed that bird,now I know what it was. Congrats YB and Paul, I'd much rather you get him than me. Paul can rub it in,YB be carefull you might ruffle some feathers. LOL Nice bird,great hunt. YB you won't be able to leave home without him next year.

Well the bird is at the taxidermist. I had to mount this one. The little rascal had the nerve to tell me he had on mounted and I didn't. Talk about rubbing it in!!!!!!
