Default Turkey hunting question...

Hi guys,

I looked out my back window a couple days ago at about 6:30 and I saw 3 hens and one tom trailing them about 10 yards behind. They were walking at a steady pace and I grabbed my bow and followed them but they got scared when I got too close. I managed to get about 40 yards away without any camo and without getting busted by the tom, which surprised me! I almost had a shot but when I drew my bow one of the hens busted me and they all took off. I havent seen them since, any ideas? I plan to purchase a box or slate call today to try to call them out of the thick forest and into the field, but if anyone has a better idea could they please let me know. Thanks,

Michael

If you can get a pop up blind.

For a bow thats what I hear works good.

Good Luck
