If you're like me, you gain about 20 pounds when you put it on. What's in your turkey hunting vest and what one item inside wouldn't you be without in the turkey woods?

i got way too many calls in mine, but i use them. the one thing i couldnt do w/o would be my water, i walk a lot.. lol..

Dito on to many calls ,but never know witch one is right for the day.


Things I would never take out is WATER and extra batteries for the red dot ,never know when I will forget to turn it off.
Oh ya the cammera to!!

i pack kinda light.....my ole yeller slatek call....my hand made slate call....my box call....2 of my own hand made strikers and a carbon striker incase it gets wet....a scrubbie pad for the slate calls and striker tips....chalk for the box call.....my crow locator....a few shells....my leatherman wave...minmag flashlight...camera for after the hunt....my lucky stone a guy picked up and gave to me my firsy year turkey hunting...never left my vest.....and a compass and lighter just incase......and water......i think i carry more in my fishing vest!! i know some guys go all out.....but i dont use many calls...one slate and a few strikers and i can sound like a few diffrent hens....2 slates, 3 strikers and a box call and i can sound like any hen i want....works for me.....

H2O bladder, batteries, stylus light, and bug spray I cant live without!!!

2 slates, cornucopia of diaphragms, 2 strikers, gobbler, crow, owl call and the triple shock peacock call just in case I want to make some noise!
