Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Nice job. Great looking bird. I'm jealous to say the least.

The story isn't extremely exciting. After calling in some hens in a couple of spots we were moving to a new area when we spotted these birds out in a field. We moved on them and tried to beat them to the corner of the field. The last 100 yards or so we had to belly crawl it. We called at them, but mostly we were where they were now heading. It was 34 degrees with a slight sleet/rain mix. So I took the less than exciting hunt!!!

Come on Ryan, that's a great story. You took a bird on a less than perfect weather day and practiced good woodsmanship to do it. Anytime you can give a bird a ride home, the story is exciting. IMHO.

Just out of curiosity, what part of Carolina were you hunting in?
