Thats a hen, nice picture but im not sure that is a hen. Correct me if im wrong.

What is that bird sitting on? It just dont look right, to me it doesn't look like it is sitting on the tree.

How far away were you from that turkey when you took that picture????

deer-hunter18, I am 100% sure this is a hen. In the flock of 30 to 50 turkeys (sometimes they are not all there) that I have been photographing, there are two hens with beards. She is sitting on a dead branch, her feathers are covering her feet and part of the branch that she is sitting on.

Yup definitly a hen, you can see the blue on the head.
