I dont know much about turkey hunting cause its my first year but I have read a lot and I heard that the turkeys dont like the noise of rainfall in the trees so they move into open fields and I think its true but like I said I dont know much so it could just be opinion.

Move to open areas like fields & gravel roads. Prepare to stay awhile since your calling will not be heard as far as on a clear day. Keep dry with blinds or whatever you need, if you can stay dry take a good book, call every once in awhile & look around a bit then wait them out.
