I will be hunting Mo, We have a 3 week season starting April 18 with a 2 gobbler limit.

Johnch and Lefty26 where at in ohio you two hunting?? I lived in coshocton,oh for 2 years.. (se oh) .. It was some great hunting and plenty of land to hunt.. I'm leaning towards going there for my outta state hunt... My buddy owns a archery shop there too so thats a bonus...lol..

I will be hunting either Ottawa Co on my farm ,few birds but close to home ( walk out my back door)
Or in the Zaleski state forest area in Vinton and Athens Co.

I am ready team. Great year planned. First off to florida then to Texas then VA and back home to Maryland. Hopefully will complete my Grand Slam this year. Two down Two to go (Florida & Texas)!!!

In SD,I hunt the Cheyenne Indian Res. around Eagle Butte. In Wis. I hunt in zone 2 down by Boscobel, and here in Mn. I hunt the Mn. river bottums down by Renville,but this year I didn't get drawn for a tag so I will put in for a surplus tag for zone 249 here by Brainerd.
I'll hunt SD. first then Neb. then Wis. and then finish up here in Mn. if I can get one of the surplus tags. Always have been able to get one.

I am hunting between redwoodfalls and renville area 425. Do you know about the archery season this year for turks. Over the counter tag valid for the last 3 seasons (f,g,h) Only good for poeple that didnt draw.

I just found out my best turkey hunting spot got leased out, but there are plenty of other places. Turkeys are everywhere, it'll just make it a little bit tougher to kill one.

nc i retired judy from ukc hunts the blasto effected her ....she has trouble getting air... i just pleasure hunt her now......i have a 5 year old male that is doing good and some pups coming along fine......these tennessee turkeys are getting fired up over here

I seen 5 Toms in a group this weekend. 3 big ol longbeards, every time a car would go by all 5 would gobble. OH YEAH!!!! We are ready up north.

I have arrived! I am hunting out of New Mexico, April15th-May10th, 2 bird limit. Git R done....I like that. What kinda gun, ammo, camo, and bullets yall use? Whats your biggest bird? Say somethinLOL

I will be breaking in a new BPS 10 Ga. this spring, I will be shooting 2 1/2oz. Nitro-Hevi shot in #5's and I like the real tree hardwoods camo. My biggest to date is a 24 1/2 pound eastern.

I'm using my grandpals 12 ga pump shotgun.. I wanna get a bird with it.. Just started patterning it.. Its a 3in chamber.. Gun is about 50 or 60 years old.. I use mossy oak camo.. don't have a big bird to write home about.. I'm just hoping to get one for my grandpal..

I usually use my Ruger O/U with Federal 4x6 shot 1 7/8 oz shot. But this year I am going to arrow one. 25 LBer last year 10" beard is my biggest...

I shoot a scoped Browning Gold 3" with Win. HV #5's My best bird to date is a 23 lb Merriams I took back 2 years ago in SD. It had 2 beards, one 10" and one about 4 1/2".

I'm hunting with a NEF 12 guage and shoot Rem. 4/6 Duplex 3 in. I wear Advantage Timber head-to-toe. My biggest bird is a 25 lb, 10 in. beard, 1 3/8 in spurs Merriams. Come on April 15th!

Borch ,I didn't get a surplus tag this year. It was 5:01 when I got the app. in and the 7 surplus tags for 249E were already GONE! 5:02, and they were gone for 249H. I hate this states surplus tags system.
At least I'm going to be able to hunt in SD. Wis. and Neb this year, but not in my home state again! I'm also going to be helping out in the first ever disabled veterns turkey hunt in Camp Ripley.Should be fun.
That bunch of birds you saw up my way have been hanging all winter around the golf course.Where I hunt up here, when on the rare occasion I can get a tag, is only a little bit east of there.

Sounds like the team is fired up!!!!!!!!:D:) I will be hunting Indiana. Spikestrip- The biggest bird was over 28 lbs., Using a mosseburg 835 with 3 inch #5 shot, a turkeys nightmare!!!!;) Seen lots of birds so far all on private land I hunt on!!![8D]. Last years contest Rattlesnake took the biggest bird of the contest and I took 2nd. So I will be after Rattlesnakes title!! HA HA. Good luck to all and have a safe hunt. P.S. Take a kid hunting with you this year!;)

Paintbrush? How ya get in on that Camp Ripley hunt I would love to help out. I am a vet and only live 45 mls from there. Let me know how i can help another vet!!!!!

Triplespool, last year when i got my 25lb'er. I had my 9,7 yr olds with me plus the 12 yr old neighbor kid running the camera. Oh yeah i turned 3 kids into avid turk hunters!!!!

Triplespool we were on the same team before sometime.. That sure was a awesome bird you got last year !!!

It sure looks like we got a great active team and everyone seems to be seeing birds and hunting great places.. Maybe we will win this thing.. I got the fever bad..lol.. cant wait to get out there..

Still don't know where I'm going for my outta state... really starting to look like public land in ohio...

Hey TeeJay, You are the man!!!!!! It is great to hear you take kids with you hunting!!:) Sounds like you had a blast! I try every year to take kids hunting that have never been before.
