Turkey debates

You know I was just sitting here reading post and noticed that we like to debate over whether a shot is ethical or if we would take a shot or not, I saw where there was debate whether a body or head shot, on limb or on ground. they have been healthy debates. I commend you all on your decisions on where you stand with your answers. Either side has valid points and has spoken their peace and will keep doing what ever they decide to do.
I feel that all the Turkey hunters on here make a shot that they personally feel comfortable with. I just hope that the rest aren't taking shots at birds just because they can and making a poor decision and just wounding it. I'll tell you the experience last year of having 5 long beards strutting in front of me at 25 yards adn just sitting there, actually arguing over who was going to shoot, which we were both saying the other person was too shoot, That was a great experience., and wouldn't have done it any different. So whether you shoot them with a camera or gun just make sure you can live with the shot ad enjoy it like it is supposed to be enjoyed and be able to relive it year after year. Happy Hunting, Identify Your Target, and just ENJOY the Oppurtunities. Pat

Now Pat , Jim and I are the first 2 on here to ever debate who was not going to shoot at a strutting Tom coming in and as we argued the hen got closer and closer. When the hen got within 20 yards Jim starts Crying , so I felt bad and Punched him and took the Gun and shot [:@] The gun had a bent Barrel [8D] and his Crappy #6 shot , couldn't hit a Dog in the butt at 10 yards. Well after 3 shots, I got enough shot in the bird to slow him enough to run after him
. Needless to say we still debate over it LOL ...BT
