RE: Rifles or handguns?
Ok the "reasion" i asked.
BTW its leagle in Fl.
I have a buddy that wants to hunt them with a 17 rf.
He can use a shotgun but he just dosent like them.
And the other reasion is my wife. She cant use a shot gun. the kick of a 20ga with light fild loads black and blues her arm and that was with a auto and a pacmire decelarator pad.
She ia a good shot with my 22mag. and she had said she "might" want to give turkey hunting a try.
I am thinking of leting her on my farm with the 22mag. safty reasion i dont want her on a wma with a rifle.
where would be the corect aming point with a rifle?
body or head still?

Kinda like the same spot the a person would aim with an arrow.
The head would move to much for a head shot.
So I say the body in the vital zone.
Good Luck

body!!! Just as jrsrb said, the head moves too much. I can't hunt them with a handgun[:@], but I do with a bow. If its a "profile" shot, aim where you "imagine" the wing connects with the body and a frontal shot should be "center mass". Good luck to the wife.
