I carry about 8 different diaphragm calls, 2 box calls, 4 slate calls with as many strikers as i have, a tube call, crow call, and owl hooter. I am going to get a gobble call this year. I would rather have calls and not need them than need them and not have them on a stubborn old gobbler...

How many pockets in your vest? I carry what I might need for the day. And it is a stores worth. Ya never know just what call [tone and ptich] will turn them on.

My old Stand by is my Box, have a back-up soemtitmes 2, followed by wingbone calls, slates, different pegs, diaphrams, chalk, nippers, knife, compass, GPS, extra gloves, extra headnet, tp, decoys all in my vest. Hate tube calls tickles my lips and that drives me nuts!

I normally have two slate calls with a few different strikers and if it's windy I'll also carry a Quaker Boy Grand Ole Master box call. My favorite call and I've gotten good with is the MAD Super Crystal which I use about 95% of the time. I've practiced on alot of live hens and found that I can imitate their sounds pretty closely with this call. I also take a few mouth calls but rarely use them...

I carry 16 mouth calls, 1 box, 2 slate calls, 3 glass calls and 4 different strikers. Crow calls, hawk calls, gobbles I do on mouth calls. Owl hooting I do with my voice. That will do for a day.

I carry a slate, two different diaphragms, a crow call, two strikers, and sometimes a box call. But, looking to expand my bag of tricks a little this year. Calling is only part of the equation.

I usually carry 4-8 mouth calls (I lose them often, so it's a constant state of flux), 2 slates (one slate, one aluminum), 2-4 strikers (I lose them often, also), two crow calls, a hawk screamer, 2 owl hoots (one reed, one can), a good set of small binos and a camera. I also carry a Jake and a Hen.

I cover a lot of ground and make several setups/day. I get soaked, sweaty, bloody, tear up my vests, pants, shirts, etc. I lose lots of stuff from newly-developed holes in my vest.

Man I CAN'T WAIT !!
