Default New Gun on the way.

I can't wait, I have a new Browning BPS 10 ga. on the way, It will have the dura-touch MOBU finish and endorsed by the NWTF with a 24" barrel, I have wanted one for awhile, I should pick it up a week from Friday.

Congrats Strut!!![8D]You'll be happy with it!Its a thumper,a 24' barrel gets rid of some of of that weight!A good recoil system and a sling like Butler Creek, and the right load/choke combo and them Missouri gobblers better be a runnin for the next state!!!!!!

Yeah Bob, I have wanted one for awhile now, and that dura-touch finish is soooo nice, I plan on buying a Rhino choke and using Nitro-Hevi shot, It should do very well, if not I will go back to my 870 Super Mag.

strut... I think youll love it, Ive got one but not with the Duratouch stock. It shoots an awesome pattern with my Hastings choke, but Ive also missed a few when they get too close, but have cleanly taken a couple in the 50 yard range. My only complaint is the weight of it, it is pretty heavy, but as someone said with a good sling you should be able to carry it comfortably. Congrats on your new toy.

I haven't shot a 10 before, but I have shot plenty of 3 1/2's thru my 870 supermag and my MP153. How much more does the 10 kick than the 12 3 1/2's? I would think that a 10 pump would loosen some fillings. Congrats on the new gun!

You will love that gun and you will also love the Nitro ammo and Rhino choke combo. My buddy has a BPS 10 gauge and it is awesome.

buttonbuckmaster,

My buddy has a BPS 10 gauge w/ 30" barrel and I have a 3.5" BPS 12 gauge with a 26" barrel....the 12 gauge definately has more kick than the 10, probably due to the extra 2 lbs of the 10 gauge.

Yeah I can't tell much difference at all between the 3 1/2" 12's and the 10 ga's, I have'nt shot a BPS 10 ga. but I have shot others and I think my 870 SM kicks about as hard as anything I have every shot.
