Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default RE: Fall Turkey calling?????

In the fall the gobblers are real hard to call. you just about have to wait them out in roost areas & in feeding areas. If you do call them use a gobbler yelp which is a slow, long, drawn out yelp. the best call to use is a slate call for them since you have so much control.

If you can shoot a hen in your state the Kee Kee Run aka the lost call works well as does a clucks, purrs, and long drawn out hen yelping of a mother hen or boss hen trying to get the flock back together.

I mostly hunt roost & feeding areas & use very little calling, mostly clucks & purrs with a whistle or kee kee just to spice it up.

good luck

if you need a good gobbler getter broadhead check out the golden key Reaper Broadheads. They will wack a turkey before he knows what hit him!
