I don't think it would be good practice ,,and really what fun would it be , I think there would be more injured birds then died ones ...BT

I have to agree with BT on this one ,People would start shooting at everthing and a lot of birds would end up crippled .I see a lot of wounded birds now and you know they were the result of poor judgement .

I think the pleasure in the hunt is trying to out talk the turkeys into coming to you.

The only way I would shoot at a flying bird is if I hit him on the ground first and he got up and started to fly off.It hasn't happened to me yet,and I hope it never does,but I would hate to loose a crippled bird.

WOW! Guys I think this is the first time we all agreed on somethin.lol j/k I'm not a good enough wing shot to hit a flyin turkey in the head.and with a body shot the chances of findin him would be slim.So I wouldn't waste the shell.
