Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Here is the thing, beretta 391 extrema is factory overbored (backbored) and forcing cone already lengthened. The Benelli has the inercia cycling and crio barrel and chock tubes. Which way do I go? My 2 cents is that Beretta should pattern better. Frankly I truely won't go wrong with either but I need feedback.

I have heard good reports on both. The main thing to consider between these two guns is that the Extrema is gas operated and the SBE is recoil operated. If I were to make a choice, I'd lean with the gas operated version. Much easier on your shoulder shooting those 3 1/2" shells!! Just a thought.

Fit is also critical on felt recoil. The new Super Black Eagle II has a new recoil absorbing stock which apparently works quite well. Try them both on using the hunting clothes/coat that you normally wear. I actually had both in my hands today and the benelli fits me like a glove. They both have excellent reputations from what I have gathered. The problem is up here in Canada it costs $1800.00 before taxes. Gotta save my pennies for that baby, but i do NEED that gun

Well I decided, I'm getting the Super Black Eagle II. The first reason was availability and repairability, although Berretta distributes both I was finding it near imposiable to find a 391 Extrema or Berretta shotgun dealer so if I had a problem it would be equally imposible to get repaired, what is strange is Berretta is 5 minutes from my house. The problem I have now is I need a 24 inch barrel which they don't expect for 60 days and doesn't come in my camo pattern so I will have to find someone to camo a 24 inch black barrel for me in Max4.

Update: I was at Gander Mountain the other day and handled both guns. I do prefer the way that the New Benelli SBE fits and mounts to my shoulder compared to the Berreta. Good choice!!!
