shooting hrs

Default shooting hrs

im from southern indiana and it used to be that turkey hunting started at first light and ended at noon...why doesent it go all day?

I think the shooting hours were set like that to take the pressure off of nesting hens. At least thats what i heard.

I always knew that Hoosierland was kinda backward. Just kiddin Here in Iowa the shooting hrs are 1/2 hr before sunrise to 1/2 hr after sunset, for both turkey and whitetails
