I've got the friction and box calls down pretty good, but I'm just beginning to try and learn the mouth call. Any advice for a beginner? What's the easiest way to learn how to make the right sounds? Instead of sounding like a wounded duck? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I realize that it takes alot of practice, but I was just hoping for some advice. Thanks.

If you can manage to keep that thing in your mouth w/out gaggin' it is half the problem. If you are able to create sound with it you are half way there. Try saying "Kee-Yote" with it in and you will get the basic sound. To get a put try a quick "duke". Hope this helps.

I just bought my 1st mouth call last week and I am already getting the hang of it. I bought a Quaker Boy beginner call. If I'm not mistaken, I believe QB also sells this with a cassette for about $9. As far as videos go, I love the Primos "Mastering the Art" paks.
