Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Can't wait to get in the woods next spring. Looks like a bumper crop of turkeys on my lease. http://www.racksnspurs.com/images/04090309.jpg

Jim, that looks like a bear, are you pretty sure that's what it is?

Looks like a pretty decent hatch this year!

Yes, it's a bear. We've been seeing some tracks. Probably the sow we saw tracks of one & half years ago.

If she has a cub with her, that could make deer hunting interesting this fall. I wouldn't like to be in the same general area with a sow and her cub. I've heard a couple stories of irrate mama bears that make me uncomfortable with the thought.

Yes, it will make deer hunting interesting, but no more than turkey hunting next spring. Especially that walk into the woods early in the morning.

I sent the link to a bear hunter/guide. She said it was a large male. They roam a lot so he is probably gone but he may be back for turkey season.
