THE WEATHER FINALLY WAS WARM ENOUGH IN WV TODAY TO DO SOME PATTERNING. USING A 660 RHINO IN MY REM 870 SUPER MAG AND A RHINO 680 IN MY 835 I TRIED MY NITRO 4X5 COPPER X 7 HEVI SHOT. THE RESULTS ARE UNREAL USING A QUAKER BOY TARGET I HAVNT TAKEN THE TIME TO COUNT ALL THE HOLES IN THE CIRCLE WITH THE MOSSBERG ITS OVER 300 EASY AND WITH THE REM 870 ITS BETWEEN 250 AND 300 BUT MAN DOES THIS 2 5/8OZ LOAD KICK

Pointshoot yes the load is 4x5copper x 7 hevi shot not 7 1/2 the hevi shot has a special coating so it doesnt score your barrel Ray at nitro told me that this is an awesome load and man was he right its kind of expensive but it only takes one shot

mike,
that load does sound awesome! i was just reading an article about the new "hevi-shots" on the market and they are claiming that the #7.5 hevishot has the same enrgy at 40 yds as the #4 copper/nickle. if thats true man look out turkeys. cant imagine all that shot flyin down range at 40 yds. cant wait to shoot those 3oz nitros thru my sp-10.
