I'm sure that they do things a bit different today. My surgery was an experiment, but it has worked well.

I know where you're comimg from
Had my back surgery in '94 and it turned into meningitis and I was in the hospital for almost three weeks. Thank God I made it through it and that I've been back trouble free since
I'll be heading under the knife in less than two weeks for an eye surgery. Then I'll have to wait three weeks and have the other one done. Hopefuly this will get me back on the 3D range. If you've seen any of my turkey pics from the past five years, you can see that my eyes proprude out a lot. They were never like that until I got an over-active thyroid disease called Graves. I can shoot my bow now but if I shoot it a lot like at a 3D shoot, I get double vision, headaches and very frusrated [:@]
Did a lot of research on the operation and the doctor so things should go well
Take it easy there Ken and make a full recovery
and I'll do the same here in NH so that we both won't have to skip any seasons!!

WISH YOU THE BEST.
HAD THE SAME SURGERY 16 YEARS AGO AND HAVE NOT BEEN THE SAME SINCE.
got an infection in the spinal canel and had 4 emergency surgeries in 3 days to save me.(that may have been a mistake for the wife)LOL
[
].
got two 11" plates and 10 screws and a computer in my spine.
I guess I do OK for what I been through.at least I can still get around to hunt.
just be sure to do as the Dr. says and be very careful and ,walk , walk , walk and walk some more.that help all the muscles keep going.
