Just picked up another roll of film. Thought you might find these shots interesting to look at. You can see how soaked he was from the Thunderstorm we had the day I got him.
Taxidermist said the head was absolutley the largest turkey head he had ever worked on. It was the thing that just jumped out at me when I saw him coming towards me, even in full strut.
Can you imagine having those claws or spurs getting you (I've haerd stories of it happening to some). It amazes me when I look at any wild turkeys feet how huge they are!

I would have to say He's a Limb Hanger for sure. I've seen a few good birds this past season , and one that was taken from a place I was the only one to hunt, but the hunter argued with the land owner to hunt it , and only if I wasn't there. Well the guy busted the birds up and happened to be in the right spot as the gobbler came back looking for the hens, and got him. 1 3/4 's no problem,, he was the same guy that stopped right inbetween one of my setups and a Gobbler crossing the road at the end of the season. I wasn't real happy but what can you do....BT
