Default Thought my Gun was off !

Set the gun up agaist a Tree this moring as Bosshen and I had set a game plan, It slide off and went Clunk on the ground. No choice but to use it, and who would ever think ? Believe it or not Guess what happens....Well this was the end resault after a test fire,,,





Guess it wasn't to bad
My second bird for Ontario, and guess I'm walking empty handed for the rest of the season.

..Almost the same thing happen to me,my gun slid out in the floor and hit hard,
but took a 21 pounder the next day.smoked his head..that a good bird boss...

It is always the disabled gun that kills something.

nice bird congrats........glad to see your test fire hit its mark.....i thought many times about scoping my turkey gun.....since now it is solely my turkey gun.....but it goes through alot of tough stuff....and i dont know if a scope will handle it.....and dont want to take the chance.....and really dont need too.....i gota start watching...sooner or later im going to miss.....i dont remember pulling the trigger on either of the spring gobblers i took.....or taking the saftey off......but i remember what both turkeys looked like when they got hit.....shot knocked both of them right off their feet....the first one i know i was off.....way to the left...luckily he was walking that way....i think he walked into the pattern and killed himself.....if he stayed where he was when i squeezed off i bet i woulda missed......rather be lucky then good that day....congrats again.....
