Ms. Strut tags out.
And yet another great hunt this year, this one makes 4 long beards between us this year here in Mo. The only disappointment in the hunt was my ability to video it, man those turkey heads are really hard to pickup in the brush with a handycam, that little screen is just pretty hard for me to see whats really being taped, I thought I was on him good when she shot but I was about a foot right above his head LOL and all I got was the leaves on a tree. You could'nt see the turkey in the view finder so I was just focusing on trees or bushes that he was standing close to in hopes of getting him on film, anyway the hunt was great and the videoing was terrible LOL. He weighed 18.3 lbs. with an 11" beard and almost 1" spurs. I was down right proud of her, she did good.

Congrats to you and the Mrs...
When it comes to videoing hunts, you have to have a tripod.....set it up so you can watch the screen and look over the camera at the same time....it not only steadys the camera but allows the camera to point where your looking. Trust me..been there, done that and now our footage is incredible.

Yeah If I could have just located his head and zoomed in on him I think I could have got a pretty good picture but my problem was finding him on the little screen.
Rob, sounds like some good info there about a tripod, I may have to invest in one, Thanks.
