To Me Thats More Screwing Around.
A Rubber Band, You Wrap Around In A Flash.
The "Pouch" Looks Like It Makes Pockets/Vest More Bulky.
While A Rubber Band Is Light

Brokenbucket is right on the money here...needless to say 15!!!I carry one box call to the woods and thats a QB mini boat paddle that already has a strap around the handle to help in keeping it quiet!I dont like putting anything between my striking surfaces at all because trust me eventually you'll end up in a situation where things like cloth,toilet paper,etc collect moisture and oils.Then your in for a frusterating experience having to condition your call to make it work to its fullest capabilities again.
Even with the strap it will occasionally squeak in moving around the woods.A good holster as BB suggested is absolutley the way to go to finalize the deal,plus it makes it very easy to get to instead of fumbling around getting it out of your vest.If I could suggest one thing to add to the effectiveness to the holster is get one that covers the entire box.Mine is cushioned all the way around the box and completely covers the entire box as well as the entire handle.The advantage here is not only does it keep it quiet,but it also keeps dirt,twigs,and other materials out of my holster and off my call,plus raindrops! ;)Heres a look at one...

Well thanx for all your guys help on this. Lotsa diffrent ideas here. I bin using the double rubber band thing with good success. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Avery holster would fit my battleship heartbreaker? Its rather long and i was just curios. Thanx agin all.....

One of mine is a Prospector model, forget what brand, maybe Primos?. It came with a silencer pin. You place it one way to silence the call, the pin prevents the paddle from contacting the sides. When you reverse it, the paddle can touch the side. It also has a rubber band that you loop over the paddle to keep the paddle from moving. Seems to work fine. My other calls are ones I make, and I just use rubber bands.
