..Ok here is the ticket,my 835 shoots the win hv shell the best of all,but im getting a
tighter pattern with #5 shot,i would say about 4 inches tighter at 40 yards than number
#6 shot in the same shell,but what im asking is? when i go to look at the pattern the
#6 shot has more pellets of cource but would you go with the tighter pattern #5 shot

Yes you did.

I would use 5s.

Why? The velocity and punching power should be slightly better at 40.


That is one reason I stay with 4 lead winchester supreme. The velocity is such it gives me greater knock down power much more that 5 or 6s at 40.
